All our private language lessons and courses in the UK and abroad are subject to our terms and conditions. Online purchases are made subject to your agreement to these terms and conditions. Please download and read carefully before making your purchase.

Definitions and Interpretations in these Conditions


The 'Company' shall mean FLUENTINTUITION LTD, or Fluentintuiton Ltd. 'The client' shall mean the person in whose name the booking is made and shall include the person or persons on whose behalf the same is made. 'Force Majeure' shall mean any event outside the Company's control which prevents the prompt performance of its obligations, including war and civil strife, etc. 

HOW TO BOOK

FLUENTINTUITION GROUP COURSES can be booked online @ www.fluentintuition.co.uk, by telephone, or in person.

FLUENTINTUITION personal language training, ONE TO ONE or TRAINERSHARE can be booked via email, telephone, or in person.

REFUND POLICY

All places must be booked and paid for in advance. Bookings* are non-refundable unless an event is cancelled by FLUENTINTUITION LTD. FLUENTINTUITION LTD reserves the right to cancel a course and in these circumstances will fully refund course fees. *See below for online bookings and our online refund policy.

NON-ATTENDANCE/LATE ATTENDANCE

Under no circumstances whatsoever will FLUENTINTUITION LTD  refund or compensate for late or non-arrivals or partial attendance  to the advertised course, or amended courses, howsoever caused.

ONLINE GROUP COURSE BOOKINGS

If you purchase a group course online you have the right to cancel your online purchases within 7 working days. The seven days ‘cooling off’ period begins from the time of the transaction. Your online course fees will be fully refunded. This does not affect your statutory rights.

CANCELLATIONS & ALTERATIONS

Language Courses in the UK We make every attempt to run all courses advertised, however all courses will run subject to a minimum number of 6 participants. In the event there are fewer than 6 paid bookings we reserve the right to cancel your course up to 48 hours prior to the start of the course or less than 48 hours where agreed individually with learners who have paid and enrolled on the course. Where courses are cancelled by fluentintuition you will receive a full refund of your fees by the same method used for payment.

We may ask you to move to another course of the same level that is definitely running or to reduce the course running time as below:

With 4-5 learners the group will run for 75 minutes per session

With 2-3 learners the group will run for 60 minutes per session

On occasions, a first meeting may be allowed to proceed to discuss possible options. The Director’s decision is final in determining whether the course will run in this event.

Occasionally, circumstances may require that course trainers change from those booked to teach. Provided a trainer of equal standing is secured, participants will not be notified in advance. If a replacement available the session will be rescheduled.

FLUENTINTUITION LTD reserves the right to cancel a course or make changes without liability if forced to do so for reasons of 'Force Majeure' beyond its control.

PERSONAL TRAINING PROGRAMMES (PLT)

We will liaise with you to arrange your programme. A personal language programme plan, formulated for the mutual agreement of client and trainer, forms part of our contract and terms.

Following consultation by phone or face to face the programme and verbal agreement of arrangements you will be issued with an Outline training plan confirming these containing FLUENTINTUITION LTD client care terms. This constitutes the contract between The Company – FLUENTINTUITION LTD– and yourself‘. You will need to agree and return our acceptance slip before training commences.

Once the arrangements for your programme have been made and agreed an invoice will be issued. After the payment has been successfully processed your booking will be confirmed. The amount due must be paid in full before commencement of training.

Continuation programmes may proceed following full pre-payment of our invoice and are bound by the terms and conditions contained in our clientcare terms* - see below.

PLT PAYMENT

We accept payment via, direct transfer (BACS), debit or credit card (except American Express) PayPal or cash. Bank charges for credit card are payable by the client (rate: 3.4%)

VAT - No VAT is payable

 CANCELLATIONS & ALTERATIONS & PROGRAMME EXPIRY

The programme of tuition must take place within the agreed duration period of the package and completed before the agreed end date otherwise sessions will be deemed to have been taken unless alternative arrangements have been made and agreed in writing with the Director.

121 Personal language training packages

12 HOUR INTRODUCTORY PACKAGE

Duration: 8 weeks maximum 

15 HOUR INTRODUCTORY PACKAGE

Duration: 10 weeks maximum

30 HOUR INTRODUCTORY PACKAGE

Duration: 12 weeks maximum

Skype packages:

10 hours – 11 weeks

20 hours -  22 weeks

30 hours –  33 weeks

Conversation packages

Skype conversation packages:

10 hours – 11 weeks

Trainer absence

In the event the trainer is unable to attend the session due to illness or force majeure every attempt will be made to advise the client in good time wherever possible. Rescheduling of the session will be by mutual agreement but no refunds will be given.

Administration charges for schedule changes

Every attempt will be made to reschedule missed sessions by common accord. If you need to cancel we will try to reschedule your session in the same week whenever possible and trainers' client schedules permit. Where ongoing changes to the programme are made, (more than 3 separate programme changes) an administrational charge of £25 per change will be levied.

 PRIVACY POLICY - PERSONAL INFORMATION

FLUENTINTUITION LTD uses the personal information that you give us to perform our contract with you.

What we collect:

. Contact information including email address, postal address and telephone number.

. Other information relevant to customer surveys and/or offers

To ensure we have the correct support in place we will also collect the following information:

. Whether you have disability or medical condition

. Whether you have a special learning difficulty

. Whether you need any specialist equipment

 VOUCHERS

Conditions to redeem fluentintuition Vouchers:

  1. Vouchers are non-refundable and cannot be exchanged for cash. Terms and conditions regarding voucher validity are contained on your email accompanying your e-voucher. You must present your transaction no. to redeem it.
  2. Vouchers can only be used if the minimum order amount is met (excluding postage costs). The minimum order amount will be the total of the order for the voucher and confirmed as the total on your receipt.
  3. If you would like to place an order that is worth more than your voucher amount, you can pay for the difference using Visa or MasterCard. If the voucher is worth more than the order, the difference will not be refunded and cannot be applied to a future order; therefore if you do not use the entire voucher amount, the difference will be lost.
  4. Without the permission of fluentintuition ltd, it is not permitted to sell, trade or purchase vouchers or vouchers codes in any way. This also applies to purchasing vouchers or voucher codes from third parties.
  5. fluentintution reserves the right to discontinue a voucher at any time or to modify any vouchers' terms and conditions.

Storing financial data

FLUENTINTUITION LTD does not store nor intend to store your financial details. These will be utilised solely for the purpose of processing credit/debit card payment via the merchant banking service provider PAYPAL. Your financial details will not be disclosed to third parties other than in accordance with PAYPAL procedures. 

Non-financial data

We may use the non-financial information for internal record keeping and to improve our products and services. We may periodically send promotional emails about new products, special offers or other information which we think you may find interesting using the email address which you have provided. From time to time, we may also use your information to contact you for market research purposes. We may contact you by email, phone, fax or mail.

Security

We are committed to ensuring that your information is secure. In order to prevent unauthorised access or disclosure we have put in place suitable physical, electronic and managerial procedures to safeguard and secure information we collect online.

MATERIALS

Course materials produced by FLUENTINTUITION LTD are included in the fee.

PHOTOGRAPHS

FLUENTINTUITION LTD reserves the right to use photographs that may be taken during courses to illustrate its promotional material. These photos will have no commercial or contractual value. Please indicate if you are not happy for your photograph to be taken.

HOW WE USE COOKIES

You may choose to restrict the collection or use of your personal information. On receiving your booking we will contact you with our welcome letter. You will be asked if you would like to receive fluentintuiton Ltd’s newsletter. You can opt in/out of receiving mailings from the Company here.

If you have previously agreed to us using your personal information for direct marketing purposes, you may change your mind at any time by writing to or emailing us at info@fluentintuition.co.uk  We will not sell, distribute or lease your personal information to third parties unless we have your permission or are required by law to do so.

Each participant may enter the competition only once

Who can enter:

Competitions are open to UK residents aged 18 or over only, excluding employees of the promoter, their immediate families and anyone else professionally connected with the giveaway.

Entries

Entries will be collected by email or post and those received by midnight on the closing day detailed on the website ( Monday 7th May for our Win an Italian Masterclass competition)will be entered into the draw.

Invoicing

At contract commencement

Billing

The amount due is payable in full.

Payment

On presentation of invoice. You can settle your bill by payment in cash, cheque or direct funds transfer into the firm’s Client Account detailed on your invoice.

Training will not commence unless cleared payment has been received into the Fluentintuition Ltd account at least 24 hours before the programme is scheduled to commence.

VAT

No Vat is payable.

Credit Card/Debit Card/Paypal

Payment by credit/debit card or Paypal is accepted, however the transaction cost of 3.4% levied by the merchant will be charged to the client.

 

Materials/course texts

Course materials produced by fluentintuition Ltd are included in the fee. The cost of externally sourced course books or materials is excluded.

 

Copyright

All materials produced by fluentintuition remain the intellectual property of the company and cannot be reproduced without express permission of the authors

 

Exams

The cost of all exam fees /accreditation/certificates are excluded.

 

Travel

Our centre is based in Woking Training free of travel charge within a 10 mile radius of our centre is discretionary and to be agreed with the Director. Training can be arranged at the client’s premises. Travel costs and subsistence are additional and to be agreed.

2016-17 travel by car will be charged at £0.45/mile.

Parking

Parking expenses will be charged to the client where free parking is unavailable at their premises/home/office.

Weekend /antisocial hours

Additional costs of training, travel, subsistence, expenses and accommodation for weekend and antisocial hours to be agreed. Minimum duration 90 minutes unless agreed otherwise.

 

Accommodation/

Foreign trips

Costs of training, travel, subsistence, expenses and accommodation for overnight and foreign trips to be agreed.

 

Refreshments/

meals for clients

FI premises only: cold refreshments are included in the course fee. Unless expressly stated in the course description, meals and snacks are not included.

 

Cancellation

Every attempt will be made to reschedule missed sessions within 7 days of the due date by common accord, however sessions cancelled without 24hrs prior notice, for whatever reason, will be charged in full. To cancel you must notify The Responsible Person named above in writing.

 

 

Package expiry

Late payment

 

 

 

Payment is due on acceptance of the Proposed Schedule unless otherwise agreed. If we agree additional and/or revised terms, these will be set out separately in writing by letter, quotation, or revised schedule.    fluentintuition Ltd will charge interest on the bill at 4% above the Royal Bank of Scotland base rate from the date on which the bill is due if you do not pay your bill within this time.  fluentintuition Ltd will charge interest on a daily basis.
