Immerse yourself in Toledo, this festive, convivial city and with our help you’ll discover the Toledo only an insider would know. Our GastroTour will help you get your bearings asap and discover those locations you’ve heard all about in your UK course, but won’t find in the guidebooks. You’ll find out where El Trebol, La Abadia, Santa Tome are, you’ll locate the Alcazar, the cathedral, museums, convents, statues and monuments, so that you can maximize the time you have free.

En route you’ll also get chance to earmark the best eateries in town walk and will complete the day with a mouthwatering gastro experience. You’ll be taken to a typical restaurant to enjoy a menu of regional Spanish cuisine, at the traditional pace, so prepare to linger long. You’ll savour Spanish tortilla, regional hams and cheeses, Toledanian carcamusas and gazpacho over a glass or two of sangria or fabulous local wine from Castilla la Mancha.

Come with us on short journey of discovery beyond Toledo’s heart to unearth one of Castilla La Mancha’s fabulous Wine Routes. We will take you to visit a local winery where you’ll enjoy a fascinating experience finding out about  the entire  process of wine production in Spain: from the grape harvest  through the phases of fermentation to the final aging room. You will then be guided through a tasting of three Castilla la Mancha wines, with accompanying nibbles.

Let us show you the beauty and skills involved in creating the fine and beautiful artesan products for which Toledo is renowned. We will accompany you to a craftwork centre producing handcrafted products such as ceramics,fine damascene detailing in silver and gold,and  steel swords.You will be able to follow the fascinating phases of production and hear from the artesans themselves as they explain  their craft and give you a live demonstration of their skills. You’ll have an English explanation of everything that goes on.

Embraced by the ancient city walls, Toledo’s Three Cultures:Christian, Islamic, and Hebrew, have coexisted for centuries and infused the city with a unique vibrant identity. As evening falls, we will guide you through the narrow streets of Toledo on a thought-provoking voyage through time and culture.   One of our three tours: Unknown Toledo, Myths and legends; The Jewish Quarter, The Synagogues and the Sefardí Museum; or The Knght Templars in Toledo (described below) will be available.

The Three Tours
Legends, curiosities and anecdotes of Toledo.
Step back into the Toledo of Isabella and Ferdinand, the ancient Spanish capital and wander through the romantic streets and alleyways reliving the legends and curiosities from medieval times to the current day. We will visit one of the monuments of the Rutas Patrimonio Desconocido, in English, the Unknown Heritage Routes. These ancient buildings, hidden for centuries, are coming to light little by little and make up what is being dubbed “Another Toledo”.

Toledo’s Three Cultures
Take a stroll with us through the most important neighbourhoods of old Toledo: uncover the folklore of the Toledanian Jewish quarters, the legends of Gustavo Adolfo Becquer and secrets of Toledo’s old cobertizos, the intriguing covered link bridges and passageways built to interconnect convents and buildings. The tour includes a visit to the ancient Roman thermal baths.

Toledo:Mystery & Myth
Discover the little-known known quarters of city, the San Miguel caves, the Toledo of the KnightsTemplar.
