What does the course cover?

This course Lunchtime French course concentrates upon your growing confidence to socialise and build relationships using your newly acquired skills in France. Make the most of life: entertaining, going to film nights, shows, the theatre, golf, the opera. Refresh and consolidate existing knowledge of basic French grammar structures before extending to new structures.

The course is communicative in approach focusing on speaking and listening, in class, employing a range of participative activities, whilst developing  reading and writing intersessionally.

Is the course at the right level for me?

Yes, if have completed a post-beginners course recently, have equivalent   experience  or  are returning to learning  having learnt in the   past at a higher level. You may have studied to GCSE or ‘O’ Level in the past. You wish to reactivate/consolidate prior learning progressing to a higher level. You can cope well in predictable day to day situations. There is still a strong emphasis on listening and speaking. An ‘Easy reader’ reading text will be introduced.   

What will I achieve?

Build your confidence with tenses and moving fluently between your present perfect, imperfect and future tenses.
