Looking for a teaching position within our team?

Fluentintuition is a language course, events and experience provider based in the heart of Woking, Surrey. We organise group courses for adults, personal language programmes, corporate work and bespoke programmes for children in French, Spanish, Italian, Russian, Mandarin, Polish and additional languages, e.g. German, Portuguese, Greek on request. Our clientele for group and bespoke programmes is largely based in Surrey. We also offer a range of language experiences that draw customers from a wider geographical area.
Learning takes place in-house at our venue in central Woking, at our centre in Mayford and at business and private clients’ premises.

Our group courses run all –year round. Evening programmes last 6 weeks per module (9 glh) with a total of 7 modules around the year. Daytime programmes are made up of 10 week modules for a total of 3.5 modules per year. There is a two week closure at Christmas, Easter and in August. Bespoke courses by their nature can be any time of the week/weekend depending on client requests. We also run intensive week and weekend courses.

Our Team

Our team is made up of committed, enthusiastic , motivated people who are passionate about what they do.

We have a small core team of trainers, but also work with self-employed practitioners. We welcome applications from suitably qualified trainers/teachers to join our foreign language team and expanding our programmes. All applicants must hold a sector –specific teaching qualification, but it is important the applicant is able to teach a range of other sectors . We not only seek applicants with the right qualifications and experience, right personality and the right talents, but also a long term commitment to teaching, to excellence and to fluentintuition.

Skills and Qualifications - mandatory

Native speaker/fluent speaker with good working knowledge of English
Permits and clearance to work in UK
Self-employed status/or National insurance no.
Graduate level education or equivalent
Teaching qualification – e.g. TCFL or equivalent
CRB certificate of screening
Able to use range of IT /interactive resources/virtual platforms

Skills and Qualifications - desired

Specialised adult teaching qualification or equivalent experience of Life long learning
Proven ability to teach all levels from ab-initio to advanced learners groups and 1-to-1
Proven ability to teach accredited courses e.g. Gcse, AS/A level programmes
Professional membership e.g. IFL,CIL,
Previous experience working with corporate clients
Experience working with children
Own transport - able to travel independently to clients
