What does the course cover?

This easy access lunchtime course is ideal for post-beginners who want to acquire the practical speaking and listening skills needed to cope with day-to–day scenarios.

The course is communicative in approach focusing on speaking and listening, and employing a range of participative activities. Key structures of basic grammar are introduced inductively.

 Is the course at the right level for me?

For those who have completed a beginners course, have equivalent experience  or  are returning to learning  having learnt at a higher level in the  past. The focus is on Speaking and listening, with intersessional reading and writing tasks.            

 What will I achieve?

On this course you will learn how to socialise, meet, greet and make arrangements; describe physical attributes, personalities and preferences, plan and make arrangements.

What next?

This course provides the building blocks to enable learners to progress to the next stage: Working Lunch II and then continue to progress all year round.
