What does the course cover?

This French course concentrates upon your growing confidence to socialise and build relationships using your newly acquired skills. Make the most of life: entertaining, cooking, going to film nights, music shows, the theatre, golf or other sports.

The course is communicative in approach focusing on speaking and listening in class, whilst developing reading and writing intersessionally (an ‘Easy reader’ reading text will be introduced). The course employs a range of participative activities and aims to refresh and consolidate your existing knowledge of basic French grammar structures before extending to new structures.

Is the course at the right level for me?

Yes, if have completed a Post Beginners course recently, have equivalent experience  or are returning to learning having studied to GCSE or ‘O’ Level in the past. You should be able to cope well in predictable day-to-day situations and are now looking to reactivate/consolidate prior learning to progress to a higher level.

What will I achieve?

Build your confidence with tenses and move fluently between your present perfect, imperfect and future tenses.
