What does the course cover?

This fast-track weekend course is ideal if you have learnt in the past and want an intensive course to fast track practical speaking and listening skills needed to cope with day-to–day scenarios when socialising and travelling abroad. Also a good way to join an existing post beginners course, if you need a late start.

The course is communicative in approach focusing on speaking and listening, and employing a range of participative activities. Key structures of basic grammar are introduced inductively.

Is the course at the right level for me?

This course is intended for those who can cope in a range of scenarios at a basic level and are able to describe what they usually doing using the present tense(using a range of regular and irregular verbs).

What will I achieve?

On this course you will learn how to talk about what you have done and where you have been, how to talk about holidays and cope at the lost property office. You will be introduced to /revisiting the present perfect tense.

For a more detailed description of outcomes, please refer to our CEFR* course description, all our courses are mapped to this and this course works towards Level A2.

What next?

This course provides a useful stand alone course before travelling abroad, but also the building blocks to enable learners to progress to the next stage and join an existing post beginners course.
