What does the course cover?
Discover and discuss a good read. Aimed specifically at those getting to grips with the spanish novel, the group will tackle a contemporary read, supported by notes and comprehension tasks at home. Meeting fortnightly, club members will then meet to clarify meaning, discuss and evaluate their responses together.

Corazón tan blanco Great commercial and critical success 1992 and for its English version A Heart So White, translated by Margaret Jull Costa, Marías and Costa were joint winners of the 1997 International IMPAC Dublin Literary Award.
Is the course at the right level for me?
You will be able to discuss the book in relation to plot, characters, structure,expressing yourself fairly fluently, if not always accurately. You can describe the experiences and events of the book and dreams,hopes & ambitions of the main characters and briefly give reasons and explanations for opinions and plans. You should be able to express opinions about the book you have read.
